D4DJ Groovy Mix English Version Is on the Way

Among the many Anime Expo Lite panels was one from Bushiroad, which has released and localized games like BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! for mobile devices. Well, as people might imagine from a panel designed for an English-speaking audience, a new localization was announced. A D4DJ Groovy Mix English adaptation is in the works.

As people might imagine, based on its full title being Dig Delight Direct Drive DJ, this is a rhythm game involving different DJs. It actually also isn’t fully available in Japan yet, as the only version operating is the D4DJ Groovy Mix D4U Edition. It has a few sample songs and gives people a chance to see what the full game will be like.

The D4DJ Groovy Mix English localization announcement was made at the 13:25 mark during the Bushiroad Mobile Panel. Footage from the D4U Edition demo appears at the 16:00 mark.

D4DJ Groovy Mix will appear in Japan on both Android and Apple iOS devices in Fall 2020. The D4DJ Groovy Mix English version is also on the way, but it does not yet have a launch window. A D4DJ anime series, called D4DJ: First Mix, is also in development.
