Cyberpunk 2077 ‘Waiting for Dodger’ Guide

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty comes with a number of new content for players to do in the new Dogtown area, such as the “Waiting for Dodger” side gig. This side gig unlocks once the player completes one of the first missions in the DLC storyline, “Spider and the Fly.” At this point, you can take on this side gig for Mr. Hands.

Note: Full spoilers lie ahead for this side gig.

After beating the Chimera boss battle in the Phantom Liberty DLC, you can start the “Waiting for Dodger” side gig by heading to the Grand Imperial Mall fast travel point and finding the side gig icon near old Night City police station there. Mr. Hands will contact you with a job to help out some NCPD officers near that location.

The map below shows where to go:

Here is everything you need to do for this quest:

  1. Head to the car marked for the quest and enter it to speak with Stella.
  2. Take the NCPD keycard Stella gives you and enter the old police station.
  3. Take out the enemies here and use the elevator to go down.
  4. Take out the enemy trying to break into the room and then speak with Charles.
  5. Enter the previously locked room and talk to Bill.
  6. Starting escorting the two officers back to their car.
  7. Along the way, sneakily take out the enemy using stealth only.
  8. If you have 17 Body attribute stat or higher, use that to open the locked door.
  9. If you don’t, head into the next room over and use the power box there to release the door lock.
  10. Take out a few more enemies.
  11. Head into the garage with Bill and Charles to deal with Dodger and complete the side gig.

Here, you have a decision to make. You can either stick up for Bill and Charles or tell the truth. If you go for the former decision, you’ll have to fight Dodger. On the other hand, if you rat the two out, you avoid the fight, but their failures are revealed. Either way, you’ll have another side gig to complete after you do this one in this side story chain.

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
