CD Projekt Red has postponed its next digital Cyberpunk 2077 event. On June 11, 2020, the company was going to hold a Night City Wire going over new details about the game. The new date for the presentation is June 25, 2020.
CD Projekt Red noted that it didn’t feel now was the right time to discuss the game. Instead, it wanted to allow “more important discussions” to be heard.
Here is the developer’s full statement about the June Cyberpunk 2077 event delay.
We decided to move Night City Wire to Jun 25th. We still look forward to sharing new information about CP’77, but more important discussions are happening right now and we want them to be heard. We wholeheartedly stand against racism, intolerance and violence. Black Lives Matter.

CD Project Red is the second company to delay a June 2020 event. On June 1, 2020, Sony delayed a PlayStation 5 game presentation that would have been held on June 4, 2020. A new date has yet to be set for that event.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 17, 2020 following a delay, with a special edition, themed Xbox One X arriving in June 2020. The game will also eventually appear on Google’s Stadia platform.
