First, let’s talk about the demo. People who place a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One digital pre-order will get a chance to download the demo starting on September 16, 2020. As clarified in the PlayStation Blog, it will have the Dino Dash and Snow Way Out levels, with the Snow Way Out one including the option to play as Dr. Neo Cortex.

As for Tawna, a version of her from a “Tawnaverse” where she’s the main character will be playable here. Her special abilities will include a hook-shot and wall-jump.

Here’s the Crash Bandicoot 4 Tawna reveal from PlayStation Underground. She appears almost immediately about 30 seconds in, starting with a whole new cinematic. It also hints at what happened to Crash and Coco in her dimension.

The PlayStation Blog also shared some concept art of this version of the heroine.

Crash Bandicoot 4 will come to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 2, 2020.
