Cover Releasing hololive Mobile App holoplus Globally

Cover has announced that it is gradually releasing the holoplus app on mobile app stores worldwide. People in select regions outside Japan, such as North America and Southeast Asia, can now access the official app that lets them keep track of their favorite hololive and Holostars Vtubers. The app covers all active Japanese, Indonesian, and English hololive female Vtubers, as well as the Japanese and English Holostars male Vtubers.

The app is free to download, but users must register an account to access it. Once logged in, they will be able to register their oshi/favorite Vtubers from the group. The app will then provide the schedule of live streams from each Vtuber’s channel, as well as notices of merchandise related to the Vtuber that are newly available on the hololive Production Official Shop.

While holoplus primarily offers content in English and Japanese languages, Cover also added that the app has community features that let users interact with each other in other languages.

Not all regions worldwide can immediately access holoplus as of this announcement on August 22, 2024, though. The official website has a fine print noting that Cover is still working to make the app available in European countries, including the United Kingdom.

holoplus is available on Android and iOS mobile devices.
