Copy Kitty’s Boki can copy the powers of any enemy in the game, but she doesn’t just stop there. She can also combine up to three enemy abilities to create 175 unique powers of her own in the sidescrolling action game.
Boki wants to be a hero, which is why her uncle sent her military hardware that lets her escape into a dangerous virtual reality world filled with hostile robots. She’ll steal those robots’ powers across more than one hundred levels, beating on twenty bosses along the way.
Players can also play as a second character who handles differently from Boki if they want to change up the game. To really change it up, a level editor is also included so players can create their own stages.
Copy Kitty will be available on Steam Early Access on August 11. The previous version of the game, which was available on Itch.io, has been removed in the meantime pending “a HUGE update” to come on the day of the Early Access release.
