The Cooking Mama series slowed down from its yearly releases, but Mama is still starring in games. This year, Office Create will release a sequel to Gardening Mama for Nintendo 3DS titled Gardening Mama: Mama and the Forest Friends.
Not to be confused with Animal Crossing (called Animal Forest in Japan) there is a forest with furry critters that ask Mama for flowers. This rabbit wants four tulips, which you can pack up and send to the rabbit so she can attract more customers for her store.
The animals live in a town which blooms when Mama delivers flowers. Mama’s fuzzy friends reward her with shopping tickets which you can use to get decorative items for your garden.
Gardening Mama: Mama and the Forest Friends also has the kinds of touch screen mini-games the series is known for. You’ll plant flowers in the right order, play a timing mini-game where you pour soil, and balance a watermelon cart by moving left and right.
Mama also has a garden to take care of and everything you harvest like those strawberries goes to the barn.
Gardening Mama: Mama and the Forest Friends is slated for release in Japan this September.
