Bandai Namco is continuing its Code Vein DLC trend of revealing it the day before it comes out with Frozen Empress, the second add-on. This new icy adventure will appear on February 26, 2020. As usual, this means a Celestial Ice Prison Depth with a new enemy called the Frozen Empress, new costumes for allies, a new Blood Code for the player, and different Blood Veils and weapons.

The new Frozen Empress location is a frozen Celestial Ice Prison. It is a dark area filled with, well, ice and snow. Once there, you could find the icy Frozen Empress of the Great Collapse Horror, which will have its own Horror Hunting Trials. One of these announced challenges is Poseidon’s Right Hand, which will give you a Blood Mist Halberd for defeating the Frozen Empress with a Halberd and without hitting 0 health more than three times.

New looks and equipment will also be a part of this Code Vein DLC. You can get a Ymir Blood Code for yourself, which has ice-related abilities like Frost Turrent and Hoarfrost Stream. Both Mia and Yakumo have new outfits, each with three color options, and players get face paint inspired by both of them. You could also get a Hoarfrost-affected bayonet, halberd, hammer, and sword to use. As for the Blood Codes, Asclepius Vestige with Offensive Order and Pollux Core Fragment with Steadfast Strike and Usurper’s Blade will be available.

Code Vein is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Frozen Empress will be released on February 26, 2020. The Hellfire Knight add-on has been available since January 29, 2020.
