Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion with Realize series

Code Geass with Realize Mobile Game Will Also Use Physical Cards

A new mobile card game in Japan will let its players procure physical versions of the cards in real life. Outer Heaven has revealed Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion with Realize series, a 2.5D casual card game mobile app in which players collect points by winning High-Low card games. The game will have a gacha system where players collect random cards based on Code Geass characters, such as Lelouch, Suzaku, and Kallen.

Players will be able to request physical versions of the cards by either collecting seven copies of the specific card or obtaining a Realize Ticket. Outer Heaven will then produce the card and deliver it by post domestically in Japan for free.

In its press release, Outer Heaven noted that many online social games would no longer have anything preservable when they shut down. With the physical card delivery service, Code Geass with Realize players will still have playable and collectible cards in real life even after the company has eventually pulled the plug.

Bandai Namco and Sunrise are celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Code Geass series, which began when the first anime season aired in October 2006. In addition to merchandise, the franchise also has many activities in the mobile game scene. The character-based game Code Geass Genesic Re;Code has been active since October 2021, and Love Live! School Idol Project is also holding a crossover event throughout April 2022. DMM Games will release the mecha battle RPG Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion – Lost Stories for PC and mobile devices in Spring 2022.

The Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion with Realize series game will be available for Android and iOS mobile devices in Japan on April 15, 2022.
