New Class Of Heroes Coming To PSP, But Not As A Dungeon Crawler [Update]

Speaking with Siliconera, Acquire said Class of Heroes Final for PSP would be end of the series as we know it. And the upcoming Class of Heroes game for PSP is a major change for the series.

While the earlier titles (pictured) were inspired by Wizardry, New Class of Heroes: Chrono Academy doesn’t have 3D dungeons. New Class of Heroes is described as a field type RPG with a character customization system loaded with options.

 

New Class of Heroes: Chrono Academy comes out in Japan on July 19. Reserve the game and you’ll get a drama CD and premium ticket as a bonus. It seems like Acquire is considering an international release since they filed a trademark for Chrono Academy in English on the same day they registered the Japanese subtitle.

 

Update: New Class of Heroes: Chrono Academy follows three transfer students in a time loop where one year of school repeats. ZeroDiv is developing the title.
