Clannad Nintendo Switch Patch Released To Keep Your Love Story From Crashing

People picking up the Clannad Nintendo Switch port will want to make sure their game is updated to the latest version before they start playing. Prototype has confirmed that an error will cause the game to crash during a May 2 conversation, if the patch is not applied. A fix has already been sent out, and updating the game to version 1.0.1 will keep it from crashing.

 

The problem would occur during a conversation with Tomoya on May 2.  Kyou says,  “A world with no punch line.” After Tomoya and Kyou’s pauses, Clannad 1.0.0 would crash. Grabbing the update will allow Tomoyo to finish the exchange and the game to proceed. The issue was brought up to Twitter, and the update has been out since July 2, 2019.

 

Clannad will be available for the Nintendo Switch on July 4, 2019. It is immediately available on the PlayStation 4 and PC worldwide. It is also available on the PlayStation 2,
