HymP (Hymmnos Points) let players customize fairies in the game called Char. The game has various hairstyles, clothes, and accessories to buy. Some items can only be unlocked using the Micro Quasar system. Everyday, Chars send energy to a server. All of the energy is combined with other players and if there is enough everyone gets a new costume.

Ciel no Surge utilizes the PlayStation Vita camera to turn barcodes into Char. The barcode will determine the race, attributes and visual style of the Char.

Ciel no Surge comes out on April 26 in Japan.
