Shiren’s next adventure takes him and his trusty pal Koppa to a tower where he can alter fate. The journey begins on December 9 when Chunsoft releases the Nintendo DS game in stores.
That’s right Chunsoft is the publisher, the company is pulling double duty for Shiren the Wanderer 5: Fortune Tower and the Dice of Fate. While Chunsoft self-published games in the past, recent titles were handled by Sega and later Spike. Thinking about buying the game? Chunsoft has a bonus for pre-orderers, a limited soundtrack CD plus a booklet that covers the history of the series.
Plans for a North American release have not been announced at this time, but there may be hope. Aksys is working with Chunsoft on another game, 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors.
