Chrono Trigger time warps to the DS on November 25 with multiple new dungeons

That’s when North America gets it, just in time to be a holiday gift. Chrono Trigger on the DS is essentially Chrono Trigger with a few extra features like a reworked translation and the anime movies from the PsOne port.

Hmm… it looks like Square Enix shuffled their final fact about the DS version. Chrono Trigger DS now has “brand new dungeons” instead of “a brand new dungeon”. Also instead of saying “wireless play mode” the updated fact list says there is an “arena mode”. We previously discovered Chrono Trigger’s multiplayer feature only supports two players. So, it’s a fair guess the arena mode, whatever that is, is the new wireless mode. I’m imagining Chrono Trigger PvP (player vs. player). Square Enix added something like that in Final Fantasy IV DS with the Whyt fights. I hope we’re not training Crono’s cat with meditation mini-games.
