Chocobo GP OST Now Available to Pre-Order

Square Enix announced the Chocobo GP OST is now available to pre-order. The soundtrack will release on March 23, 2022 and come with a total of two discs. The Chocobo GP OST will cost 3,080 yen, or $27. Additionally, those who pre-order through the Square Enix e-STORE will receive a special, limited MP3 to download. Consumers will have until April 22, 2023 to download the pre-order bonus MP3. [Thanks, Gamer!]

While pre-orders for the soundtrack are open, Square Enix will reveal the full track list at a later date. However, it has revealed what the CD jacket for the soundtrack will look like. The jacket features a Chocobo surrounded by racing carts. This includes a tank and horse-shaped racing cart. An image of the jacket is immediately available to view through a special promotional website.

Chocobo GP is an upcoming racing game that will feature several iconic classic Final Fantasy summons and monsters. A total of 20 characters will be available to choose from. Additionally, traditional Final Fantasy spells will appear in the racing game. For example, players will be able to use Haste, Doom, and Blizzard while racing on the track.

Chocobo GP will release for Nintendo Switch worldwide on March 10, 2022. A free trial will be available.
