Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc will land in Asia, with Japanese audio and Chinese text on January 16th—almost a month ahead of the US. Additionally, the game will have a special limited edition version that comes with a Monokuma pixel rubber key ring, 16 original postcards of the characters and a kickass box to house it all in. Gives us hope there might be a limited edition version for the English release, yes?

Just to help everyone keep it clear in their head, this is the updated Vita version of the first in the series of games, with updated graphics, touch screen options during the classroom trials and a whole new “School Mode”. In this new mode, you’ll have to work alongside the pixelart versions of all the other school kids, somehow finding the parts to make a fake Monobear while tasking students to work at different parts of the campus. You’ll also be able to raise your friendship levels by giving presents to each student.

Sony also teased that there would be an announcement on Super Danganronpa 2: Sayonara Zetsubou Gakuen at the 2014 Taipei Game Show, although we’ll have to wait for more news on that.

In the meantime, twiddle your thumbs and feast your eyes on that limited edition while waiting for Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc’s US release on February 11th, with Europe getting it a few days later on February 14th.
