Nintendo has announced their 2006 Q1 release schedule and there are some long awaited gems in the list. First is Chibi Robo, where you play as a pint sized robot helper designed to bring love to your family. You can do this by picking up trash around the house or by doing a rain dance with a group of frogs. We’ve covered the Japanese version of Chibi Robo if you want more details about the game.
Then there is Super Princess Peach, which was a shoe in for the big N to bring over. It’s more of a classic 2D platformer with a few puzzle elements that use Peach’s emotions. For more details on Super Princess Peach check out our previous coverage.
Odama has been talked about since E3 2004. The game is best explained as a pinball cross war simulator Odama, is something else. We’re looking forward to this release, even though bongo support was taken out of the game in favor of microphone support.
Here’s a full list of upcoming games coming out:
GameCube:
Chibi Robo: February 6
Odama: March 6
Nintendo DS:
Electroplankton: January 9
True Swing Golf: January 23

You’re probably wondering how come Twilight Princess isn’t on this list… we are too, but Nintendo insists that the game will be a Gamecube release. We’ll keep you posted.
