Nintendo has shared a special performance of the Animal Crossing theme song. More specifically, it is a virtual show of the actual musicians who performed the Animal Crossing: New Horizons theme for the game playing the song for everyone online. The over one minute clip gives players an opportunity to see the people behind the music.
Here’s the Animal Crossing theme song performance.
The version of the song people might be equally familiar with is the rendition K.K. Slider performs. The very first time he comes to your island, he will play “Welcome Horizons,” the official name for the Animal Crossing: New Horizons, theme for everyone. Here’s a video clip of that other sort of virtual performance, shared by Biticular.
Animal Crossing has been setting all sorts of records lately, even meeting its lifetime sales prediction within a few weeks of launching. It’s caused a resurgence in interest in amiibo cards, with Nintendo printing up a new batch. It has even seeped into other games. For example, a Tetris 99 event is running until May 18, 2020, giving people a chance to earn an Animal Crossing: New Horizons theme in-game by reaching 100 points by participating in matches.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available for the Nintendo Switch.
