A game from Arc System Works and Taisuke Kanasaki, formerly of Cing and the Hotel Dusk: Room 215 and Trace Memory series, is coming to North America. At Anime Expo 2016, Aksys announced the localization of Chase: Cold Case Investigations – Distant Memories. It will be bringing the adventure game to the Nintendo 3DS eShop in fall 2017.

In Chase: Cold Case Investigations – Distant Memories,  players follow detectives Shounosuke Nanase and Koto Amekura. The two receive a tip suggesting an explosion from five years ago was a disguised murder, not some accident. It’s up to you to investigate the incident and learn the truth.
