Chasca and Lyney Genshin Impact Banners Appear This Week

HoYoVerse shared exact details about what to expect from the new Chasca banner and Lyney rerun banner in Genshin Impact. Both will launch on November 20, 2024. When they do, they’ll also mark the first appearance of new four-star Genshin Impact character Ororon. Both banners run until December 10, 2024.

As is usual for the current five-star unit banners, they share four-star folks. So whether you pull on the Chasca “Piercing Shot’s Crimson Wake” or Lyney “Conjuring Chiaroscuro” one, you will also see increased odds of getting Barbara, Ororon, and Sucrose. Chasca is a five-star Anemo unit and archer, while Lyney is a five-star Pyro character and archer. Barbara and Sucrose are both Catalyst users, with the former being a Hydro type and the latter Anemo. Ororon is also an archer, though he’s Electro.

Since both the five-stars use bows, there is also a bow-heavy Epitome Invocation this time around. The two five-stars are Chasca and Lyney’s signature weapons, which are Astral Vulture’s Crimson Plumage and The First Great Magic. The four-star weapons appearing more frequently are The Bell claymore, the Favonius Lance polearm, Flower-Wreathed Feathers bow, the Flute sword, and Waveriding Whirl catalyst.

Right now, you can already experience an activity with Chasca. HoYoVerse kicked off a brief The Meaning of Flight web event. People who go through it can earn some Primogems and other materials that will make it easier to build that new character.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices now, and the Chasca and Lyney banners will appear alongside the Xbox release and 5.2 update on November 20, 2024.
