Chaos Rings III Coming To iOS, Android, And Vita On October 16

While Square Enix made a lot of smartphone ports and spinoffs, they also developed the Chaos Rings series with Wild ARMs developer Media.Vision. Famitsu reports the fourth game in the series, Chaos Rings III, will be released simultaneously for iOS, Android, and PlayStation Vita.

 

The Vita version will be the first version of Chaos Rings sold in stores. Chaos Rings III: Prequel Trilogy will cost 4,800 yen in stores or 4,300 yen as a download. The Chaos Rings series has three games currently out for smartphones – Chaos Rings, Chaos Rings Omega, and Chaos Rings II. Only Chaos Rings has been released for Vita as a PlayStation Mobile title. Chaos Rings III will cost 2,800 yen as a download for iOS or Android.

 

Square Enix also has a limited edition planned with a short story & art book, illustration book (which includes works by Final Fantasy artist Yusuke Naora and the artist from Kaku-San-Sei Million Arthur), a CD with twelve remastered songs from Chaos Rings and Wild ARMs composer Noriyasu Agematsu, and a code for crossover content with Kaku-San-Sei Million Arthur on Vita.
