It is Naruto’s birthday, and Bandai Namco doesn’t want you to forget it. Today, a happy birthday message was posted to the official Bandai Namco US twitter account in honor of the beloved ninja’s actual in-universe birthday of October 10th. To celebrate the Hokage’s birthday, they are distributing a variety of gifts for Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, including esoteric scrolls.

The items can be redeemed by logging onto the game. Once that is taken care of, players will be rewarded with 10 esoteric scrolls, 10 valuable scrolls, and a free Naruto costume. In Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, scrolls function similarly to loot boxes. Valuable scrolls and esoteric scrolls represent two of the best scrolls in the game and can be exchanged for random items. While they can both result in high rank items, the esoteric scroll has the better odds between them.

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is a fighting game where players control teams of four. The game released back in August of 2018 and is still being supported by the developer in 2020, as evidenced by this promotion. It is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Players who don’t have an interest in undertaking the game’s competitive side can join up with a friend thanks to its cooperative mode.
