Evil never dies in the Castlevania universe, apparently. Itā€™s true in the games, and it goes for the animated series too. Netflix just announced that Castlevania season 4 will be happening on Twitter. No release window has been offered for the next part of the story.

Castlevania season 4 was teased in a rather wry way. The NX on Netflix account tweeted a picture of Sir Mirrorā€™s box and asked people to clap their hands to find out news about the series. Within minutes, a brief video was released confirming another season is on the way.

Hereā€™s the clip.

The ten-episode long third season of Castlevania was only just added to Netflix on March 5, 2020. Minor spoilers aside, it looked at what happens to the world and heroes like Trevor Belmont, Alucard, and Sypha Belnades after Dracula has been defeated. Naturally, it means that evil forces are still plaguing the innocent. (You can get a glimpse at some of it with a teaser trailer.)

So far, 22 episodes of Castlevania have been released on Netflix. The first season was only four episodes long, but subsequent ones upped the numbers to eight and ten.

Netflixā€™s Castlevania season 4 is in development.
