Capcom already talked a bit about the Street Fighter 6 Dynamic Controls and what it means for people on different platforms. Now, it offered a more clear demonstration of what people can expect while they play. A new trailer is out showing how someone using Luke with Dynamic Controls could beat up Ryu.
Here’s the full trailer showing how Street Fighter 6 Dynamic Controls work at different ranges.
And this is the follow-up tweet showing which buttons will be used for the Street Fighter 6 control scheme on different platforms. In general, the A, B, and X buttons or Circle, Cross, and Square ones all work.
The Dynamic control type's Auto-Attack buttons perform various actions based on your position.
– Unleash combos at a close range with one button!
– At mid-range, the AI could choose a jump attack!
– Projectiles and dashes are performed at long range! pic.twitter.com/716ZBgMU4P— Street Fighter (@StreetFighter) November 17, 2022
As a reminder, the Street Fighter 6 Dynamic Controls won’t get in the way of online competitive play. Capcom already confirmed these are a local-only option. The only modes in which someone could use it are Arcade and Versus.
Street Fighter 6‘s platforms will be the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. It is in development and set to debut in 2023.
