Does Starship Troopers: Extermination have a Single-Player mode?

Unfortunately, Starship Troopers: Extermination does not contain a fully single-player version of the main multi-player mode, or a private lobby system. If you want to access the main meat of the game’s missions you’ll need to team up with other players online. However, while it is not possible to play the main multi-player game mode in single-player, the game does contain a recently released single-player mode known as Special Operations Group missions or S.O.G..

This mode functions as an extended tutorial, and while it won’t give you the same experience as the multi-player there are a good chunk of missions to keep you occupied. Chapter 1 currently has 25 missions of varying length with Chapter 2 planned for Quarter 2, 2025. You’ll be accompanied by a squad of 3 NPC allies as you play through a brief story and learn the game’s mechanics, with mission intro’s narrated by Casper Van Dien, reprising his character from the original film.

Starship Troopers: Extermination is now available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
