Before I bought Space Invaders: Get Even a screen with the red Nintendo Wi-Fi logo warned me three stage packs were already prepared. The base pack costs 500 Wii Points ($5) and each additional stage pack cost 500 Wii Points. You can purchase the three level packs directly in the game and fork over 2,000 Wii Points ($20). I haven’t done so yet since I’ve been mostly playing Alien Crush: Returns, but I can see myself doing so in the future. If you’re thinking about buying this though be aware that Space Invaders: Get Even is a short game.

Alien Crush: Returns has downloadable content too, but it doesn’t carry the red Nintendo Wi-Fi warning. Hudson’s official page says new action ball motions and stages will be transferred through Wi-Fi. So… these new stages might be free? No one has said anything official on the matter. Alien Crush: Returns doesn’t even have a download option in the main menu. Strange.

We will be posting impressions of both of these games in the near future so please look forward to them.
