We had hoped for it to be real—especially after Bravely Default producer Tomoya Asano brought a sample version onto a NicoNico live stream a couple months ago—but it’s official, and it’s here: A real D’s Notebook replica based on the in-game book you’ll be toting around in the game. This one’s blank, so you can use it for whatever you like.

Somehow, costs have been kept low—the book is only going to run you 2000 yen ($20) despite having silver foil—and yet, still looks amazingly detailed. The 192-page books inside is completely plain so you can use the notebook to doodle, write or do whatever else you’d like with. As mentioned, this book will also come with the downloadable costume codes that have also shipped with the drama CD from earlier if you missed that—giving you all the Ringabel loving you could ever want.

That covering will be perfect under the Christmas tree, yes? Someone? Anyone? Please? I promise I’ve been good this year! It’s available right now on the Square Enix store.

Bravely Default: For The Sequel will be out on the Nintendo 3DS this week December 6 in Europe while the rest of us have to cry and wait till February 7th of 2014.
