Blue Reflection: Second Light to Release in Japan in October

Blue Reflection: Second Light, or Blue Reflection TIE, will release in Japan in October 2021. Pre-orders for physical editions of the game will be available starting July 6, 2021. Digital pre-orders for a standards and digital deluxe edition will appear at a later date. [Thanks, Gamer!]

To coincide with the announcement of a release date, Gust has also released a new trailer for Blue Reflection: Second Light through its official YouTube. The trailer primarily focuses on environments, but does show some combat elements. Additionally, the trailer includes a look at several characters that will appear in the game.

Pre-order benefits for Blue Reflection: Second Light include a Summer costume for protagonist Ao Hoshizaki and a headband with cat ears. The costumes included in the pre-ordered versions of the game may potentially be sold as standalone DLC at a later date.

Additionally a premium and special collection box have been revealed. The premium edition will come with a special drama CD featuring messages from Ao, an Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy Reisalin “Ryza” Stout costume, a cloth poster, and a bromide fashioned to look like a school notebook. This version will cost ¥11,935 or roughly $107.

The special collection box will include all benefits listed above. However, it will include two acrylic charms, a bath towel featuring Aio, an artbook, and a school bag. Both versions will also come with the game. This version will cost ¥22,110 or $199.

Blue Reflection: Second Light will release for for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in Japan on October 21, 2021.
