The problems started earlier in the day on June 14, 2023. The game was supposed to launch at noon, but a detected issue caused a delay. Bandai Namco also had to shut the site down for emergency maintenance. The game officially launched at 1:10 PM with little issue on the server’s end, but players experienced difficulties logging in due to the usage of Bandai Namco IDs.

In order to log in and play the game, players needed to use Bandai Namco IDs. According to Blue Protocol’s website, this caused stress on the Bandai Namco IDs’ server, which necessitated emergency maintenance. Blue Protocol also had to go down as a result of that. There were also issues with payment in the Regnas Shop, which the current maintenance is trying to resolve.

Blue Protocol is available on Windows PCs in Japan. It will come out later on the PS4 and PS5. The worldwide release will come out in 2024. As of the time of writing, you cannot access Blue Protocol due to server maintenance.
