Blue Protocol PS5, Xbox Series X Japan Release Date Announced

Bandai Namco announced the release date for the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of Blue Protocol in Japan. The game will appear in consoles on December 13, 2023 at 5pm JST, and it will support cross-platform play and cross-saving for all three platforms.

This means that players will be able to play online co-op together regardless of platform of choice. PC players will also be able to pick up their progress on consoles after linking their data through a Bandai Namco ID (BNID).

However, some data will not be transferable between platforms. The Rose Orb currency is limited to the original platform where it was aquired. This applies to both paid Rose Orbs and those obtained for free.

Players who are not subscribed to PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass will still be able to access the game free of charge. All versions of the game will include the same story content, but some minor differences might apply if platform-exclusive campaigns are held in the future. Additionally, underwear selection and display for small body types will be restricted in PlayStation 5.

Blue Protocol the PS5 and Xbox Series X release date in Japan will fall on December 13, 2023, at 5pm JST. The game is now available on the Windows PC, only in Japan. The Blue Protocol worldwide release will be sometime in 2024, and it will appear on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC.
