This article is over 13 years old and may contain outdated information

I met with BlazBlue producer Toshimichi Mori to talk about what’s new in BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend. This version, scheduled for release on PlayStation Vita, PS3, and Xbox 360, will have all of the downloadable characters from Continuum Shift on disc plus Relius Clover.

Relius, Valkenhayn, Makoto, and Platinum the Trinity will have scenarios in this version of the game. On top of those, Mori said in an interview with Siliconera there will be four additional silly scenarios for players to fight through too.

We tried to get more information about the story, but Mori-san maintained his silence and asked fans to please play BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend when it comes out.

With all of the extra scenarios in BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend, Mori said we’re about, "50% through the BlazBlue story."

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend will be a launch title for PlayStation Vita in Japan dated for December 17. Aksys confirmed they would bring the Vita version to North America at E3. PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions are slated for a winter release in Japan. While Aksys has not announced those, we think there is a pretty good chance for these to get an international release.
