The announcement came via a video statement from Vic Game Studios CEO Jae-Young Choi. It began with the studio head explaining the delay is designed to improve its quality. Global closed Black Clover Mobile beta tests will be held in certain regions. These will be designed to check on things like service stability. Choi also promised further updates ahead of launch.

Here’s the full video. English subtitles are available via closed captions.

There is also a new trailer to set the stage for the game. It shows some of the characters that will appear and a bit of gameplay.

A prologue is also available. However, English subtitles aren’t available for it.

The official website is now open, with English, Japanese, and Korean language options available. Only the Home and Prologue sections are open.

Black Clover Mobile will appear worldwide on Android and Apple iOS devices in 2023, with closed beta tests held ahead of launch.
