Birushana Switch Release Date Falls in June 2022

Idea Factory International pinned down the release date for Birushana, its next Switch otome game. The visual novel will show up first in North America. Folks can get it on June 28, 2022. People in Europe will get it later that week on July 1, 2022. In addition to the launch date, the publisher updated the official site to reveal all of the love interests.

The new character page on the site focuses on the main character, Shanao “Yoshitsune” Minamoto, and her five main love interests. Yoritomo Minamoto is working to become the next Genji Clan head. Both Noritsune and Tomomori are part of the Taira family. Meanwhile, both Benkei Musashibo and Shungen are dedicated to Shanao and fight by her side.

However, those aren’t the only characters you’ll meet in Birushana. As you play, Shanao will make different choices and acquire abilities. The ones you choose can result in either “happy” or “tragic” endings with the five main love interests. There are also “If” endings that unlock after those. When that happens, the player can get closer to other characters like Sasaki or Taira.

Birushana: Rising Flower of Genpei will come to the Nintendo Switch in North America on June 28, 2022. It will show up in Europe a few days later on July 1, 2022. The limited edition will include things like a steel case and soundtrack. The game is immediately available in Japan.
