Bandai Namco’s original anime series Birdie Wing: Golf Girls’ Story will inspire a Nintendo Switch game. Set to release on June 15, 2023, the game will feature a story campaign covering the events of the anime, 1-4 person multiplayer, and motion-controlled golf swings. Web listings on Bandai Namco partner VIVERSE’s site also show a mobile game and a VR game are on their way.
Birdie Wing -Golf Girls’ Story- is a Bandai Namco original anime that originally debuted in Spring 2022. The story follows a scrappy rogue named Eve as she uses her unique golfing style to win money in illegal, underground golf games. When she meets high-class golf champion Aoi Amawashi, the two form an intense rivalry that entangles them in criminal dealings, corporate intrigue and improbable, train-involved trick shots. A second season is set to begin airing on Friday, April 7, 2023.
