Though you might think of Winter as the more barren season in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, plenty of money could be made. Some seeds still grow during this season. Here are the best ones crops to sell.
Which crops should I grow in the Winter in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life?
In the Winter, there are four crops that you can grow in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life. While it’s not as profitable as other seasons like Fall, there’s still room to fill your wallet by using some elbow grease.
How much you can make depends on the type of crop you grow and what grade it is; the higher the grade, the higher the profit. You can increase a crop’s grade by using Fertilizer.
Here is every crop that you can harvest in Winter, how much they sell for per grade, and how much each seed costs to buy at Vesta’s Farm:
- Carrot, 9-day growth time — 30 Gold per seed at Vesta’s Farm (B Grade).
- B Grade: 135 Gold.
- A Grade: 165 Gold.
- S Grade: 195 Gold.
- Strawberry, 7-day growth time — 30 Gold per seed at Vesta’s Farm (B Grade).
- B Grade: 105 Gold.
- A Grade: 135 Gold.
- S Grade: 165 Gold.
- Turnip, 5-day growth time — 20 Gold per seed at Vesta’s Farm (B Grade).
- B Grade: 75 Gold.
- A Grade: 105 Gold.
- S Grade: 135 Gold.
- Potato, 8-day growth time — 40 Gold per seed at Vesta’s Farm (B Grade).
- B Grade: 180 Gold.
- A Grade: 210 Gold.
- S Grade: 240 Gold.
While Potatoes yield the highest profit, they have an eight-day growth time. This means you must plant them as soon as the season begins. (They do grow in Spring, so you can plant them later in Winter and still profit off of them next season.) Because of this, I’d recommend Turnips if you’re pressed for time, as they only take five days to grow in. However, Turnips don’t grow in Spring.
Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life is available now on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.
