PlayStation have released a decent amount of their first-party titles on Steam, and the current publisher sale has seen most of these receive some significant discounts. Here are some of the best games you can get at reasonable discounts.
Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut
Ghost of Tsushima doesn’t have one of the biggest discounts in the publisher sale, but it is one of the best games from PlayStation in recent years. You play as Jin Sakai, a samurai faced with the dilemma of abandoning his principles to be able to defeat the Mongolian invaders who threaten his home. It’s a visual treat, featuring a vibrant open world where you are guided by the wind and the local wildlife, while using stealth and sword techniques to combat your enemies.
The Director’s Cut release features the additional Iki Island expansion, featuring additional story content and a new location to explore.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure
Sackboy: A Big Adventure was a launch title for the PS5 which joined the PlayStation Steam selection two years later. It also remains one the most joyful recent releases, where the star of LittleBigPlanet gets his 3D platforming debut. You journey across multiple worlds as Sackboy through a ton of imaginative levels, playing with a variety of gadgets and even grooving to levels built around music from a wide variety of artists.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
The title that seemed impossible for PlayStation to bring to Steam due to how reliant it was on the PS5 SSD, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is easily one of the best choices in the publisher sale. It’s part of the iconic Ratchet & Clank series, this time seeing our intergalactic duo traveling across dimensions. Featuring a new playable Lombax named Rivet, Rift Apart is one of the best games in the series, thanks to its inventive weaponry and varied levels full of exciting new ideas.

The Last of Us Part I
Often called one of the greatest PlayStation titles, The Last of Us Part I currently has a significant discount in the Steam publisher sale. The story of a smuggler named Joel and Ellie, the teenage girl he is tasked with escorting across the US, all while the world has been taken over by a fungus that turns people into zombies. This remake was released off the back of the successful HBO adaptation, and features a ton of improvements based on those seen in the sequel.

God of War (2018)
A complete revival of one of PlayStation’s flagship franchises, the 2018 God of War saw Kratos move from Ancient Greece to the Norse lands. A more mature version of the game, this saw Kratos and his son Atreus venturing across the Nine Realms to scatter the ashes of the boy’s mother. Along the way, they encounter major figures from Norse mythology, while fighting off trolls and other beasts. It was a major shift for the franchise but won countless accolades, especially for Christopher Judge’s performance as Kratos.
God of War 2018 has one of the biggest discounts in the publisher sale, with 60% at the time of writing.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection
Uncharted is one of my personal favorite PlayStation franchises, and right now the Legacy of Thieves Collection has a huge discount in the publisher sale. Collecting together both Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, these two games represent the pinnacle of the series.
Uncharted 4 sees an older Drake struggling with his desire for adventure and desire to start a normal life clashing as his long-lost brother returns. The Lost Legacy sees fan favorite character Chloe Frazer take the lead, as she heads to India in search of family histories. Both games are absolutely worth checking out, especially together at half price. If only the Nathan Drake Collection was also available on Steam.

Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition
Horizon Zero Dawn has quickly cemented itself as one of Sony’s flagship PlayStation franchises, and it currently has the best deal in the entire publisher sale. You play as Aloy, an outcast from a tribe living in a distant future where humanity has returned to tribal living while robotic creatures roam the lands. The story sees Aloy learning more about the history of the world and her place in it, while exploring a vast open world littered with the ruins of modern civilization. The Complete Edition on Steam also includes The Frozen Wilds DLC, where Aloy ventures to the frozen north where the Banuk tribe reside.
Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition currently has a huge 75% discount on Steam. Its sequel, Horizon Forbidden West, is also available for a 20% discount.
