Moze in Honkai: Star Rail is a 4-star Lightning Hunt character whose build should focus on his capabilities as a sub-attacker. This means you should give him Light Cones and Relics that improve his follow-up attack DMG.

Here are the best Light Cones for your Moze build in Honkai: Star Rail
- Worrisome, Blissful
As Topaz’s signature Light Cone, it works well with Moze due to them both having kits that focus on follow-up attacks. It increases his Crit Rate and follow-up attack DMG. After he uses a follow-up attack, he applies Tame to a target, which means they take more Crit DMG from allies. With this Light Cone, Moze can further debuff enemies and support the team. - Baptism of Pure Thought
Baptism of Pure Thought is Dr. Ratio’s signature Light Cone, which means that it works well with Moze’s kit too. It increases his Crit DMG, and every debuff further adds onto this buff. The Prey state Moze can inflict on targets counts as a debuff, so he can naturally boost his own Crit DMG with this Light Cone. After using his Ultimate, he can deal more DMG and his follow-up attack can ignore target DEF. - Cruising in the Stellar Sea
Cruising in the Stellar Sea is a premium option for F2P players since you can get it for free and it’s a good Light Cone even disregarding that. It increases Moze’s Crit Rate, as well as his ATK whenever he defeats an enemy. - Final Victor
Final Victor is a good Light Cone for Moze if you don’t have or want to give him the 5-star options. It increases his ATK and gives him a Good Fortune stack every time he lands a Crit hit. Good Fortune increases his Crit DMG and disappears at the end of his turn. But since so much of Moze’s damage comes from his follow-up attack off his turn, he doesn’t have to worry as much about losing that bonus. - Swordplay
Because Moze wants people to keep attacking his Prey-inflicted target, Swordplay is actually a good Light Cone on him. It increases how much DMG he deals a target every time he hits them. Since it’s not based on turn, Moze’s follow-up attacks can quickly rack up Swordplay stacks. Just make sure you don’t change off the target until you defeat them.
Here are the best Relics for Moze
When choosing Relics for Moze, make sure you prioritize his Crit stats, ATK, and Lightning DMG. He can get away with less SPD thanks to how his follow-up attack works, as well as his Daggerhold Bonus Ability.
- 4-pc Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters
Moze’s Prey mark is a debuff, so he can make use of Pioneer. It increases the DMG he deals with enemies to debuffs, as well as increases his Crit Rate and Crit DMG. As Moze is the one inflicting a debuff, he can double those bonuses. - 4-pc The Ashblazing Grand Duke
While this Set doesn’t fit Moze as well as Pioneer, it’s still really useful for his kit. It increases his follow-up attack DMG, as well as his ATK. - Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves
This is the best Planar Ornament Set for Moze, especially since he works really well on follow-up attack teams. Every time an ally deals a follow-up attack, he gains a stack of Merit. Merit stacks increase Moze’s follow-up attack DMG and when he reaches 5 stacks, he gets an additional Crit DMG bonus. - Izumo Gensei and Takama Divine Realm
This Planar Ornament Set works best if you plan on running Moze with other Hunt characters. But since he works best on follow-up attack teams and there are a lot of Hunt characters who specialize in follow-up attacks, it should be easy to meet that requirement. Izumo Gensei and Takama Divine Realm increases his ATK, as well as his Crit Rate if he’s with at least one other Hunt character. - Inert Salsotto
If you don’t want to concern yourself with making sure he’s with a Hunt or follow-up attacker, then you can give Moze Inert Salsotto. Inert Salsotto is a useful Set that increases his Crit Rate, as well as his Ultimate and follow-up attack DMG. For the latter two boosts, you’ll need a minimum of 50% Crit Rate, but that should be an easy threshold to reach.
Honkai: Star Rail is readily available on the PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. As a 4-star character, Moze is always in the gacha.
