Best places to farm Ice Organ in Palworld

The best place to farm Ice Organ in Palworld is the Alpha Penking dungeon at the fast travel point Sealed Realm of the Frozen Wings. If you are between levels 10 and 15, you can farm hundreds of the resource in 30 minutes or less.

Before you dive in to fight Alpha Penking, I recommend crafting a Common Shield at level 4. This will give you a buffer so you aren’t accidentally killed during battle. I would also ensure you have a weapon that can take out the Pals quickly, such as the Three Shot Bow, which can be unlocked at level 10.

Here are the steps to farm Ice Organs:

  • Warp to the Sealed Realm of the Frozen Wings fast travel point north of the Rayne Syndicate Tower.
  • Enter the Sealed Realm of the Frozen Wings dungeon. However, DO NOT attack Penking under any circumstances. If you kill the Alpha boss, the dungeon will be locked out for half an hour.
  • Instead, use your bow or gun and take out the three Pengullet minions that spawn around him.
  • After taking out each Pengullet, pick up the two to four Ice Organs they drop.
  • Once all three Pengullet minions are dead, turn around and exit the dungeon as soon as possible.
  • Re-enter the Alpha Penking dungeon and repeat the process above.
  • You can now farm Ice Organ as much as you want with this method; just make sure to dodge Penking’s attacks and avoid hitting him. You should be able to take out his minions quickly enough that you don’t take any damage. If you have a shield, then you should be able to do this easily with no fuss.

Where to get Ice Organs in Palworld

If you don’t feel like taking on Alpha Penking, you can get Ice Organ in various spots throughout the map. However, after putting in around 80 hours in the game, I have narrowed down the two best locations where you can farm the resource consistently.

Free Pal Alliance Tower farming route

The best place to get Ice Organs in Palworld is near the Free Pal Alliance Tower. However, you must be around level 30 to take advantage of this area. Simply warp to the Free Pal Alliance Tower and look for the group of Reindrix wandering by.

As you circle the snowy region around the fast travel point, a group of Reindrix will start to gather. This is perfect for picking up a lot of Ice Organ in a short period of time. If you are lucky, the Pals might even start attacking each other!

While this area gives you the most drops in the map, it won’t be ideal for beginning players who are still low level. You will also need cold-resistant armor to even step into this section of the map. Still, if you are high enough level, you can farm a lot of Ice Organ quickly here.

Grassy Behemoth Hills farming route

The best early-game location to farm Ice Organ in Palworld is the Grassy Behemoth Hills area. This place should be familiar to most players, as it’s really close to your starting camp in the game. However, to use this farming route, you will want to warp to the Grassy Behemoth Hills fast travel point.

Once you are at the Grassy Behemoth Hills warp statue, travel south back up the hill following the route shown on the map above. If you have one of the flying mounts in Palworld, this process is even quicker! On your route, you should encounter a handful of Pengullet roaming the area. The Ice-type Pals are only level 3, so you can usually take them out with one hit to get two Ice Organs off them.

Because of how close it is to the starting area, this is one of the best spots to get Ice Organ for most players in the early game. The only reason it’s not the best overall farming spot is that the Pengullet spawns are randomized. Whereas the Alpha Penking is a guaranteed method that can be repeated over and over again.

Where to buy Ice Organ in Palworld

Finally, there is one last option we need to talk about. What is perhaps the quickest way to get Ice Organ in Palworld, is to simply just buy it! Yep, if you have extra coins, you can purchase the resource. Of course, this isn’t the most elegant of solutions for players still in the early game, as you might still be strapped for cash.

But for players that have money and want to spend it, you can buy Ice Organ from the Traveling Merchant at the Duneshelter warp point in Palworld. You can find the merchant’s exact location on the map provided here:

Once you arrive at the Duneshelter warp point, walk inside the makeshift village and look for the NPC in red. The traveling merchant will sell you Ice Organs for 100 gold apiece, which isn’t actually that bad, all things considered. Walk up to him and select the “buy” dialogue option. The Ice Organ can be found at the bottom of his store next to the High Quality Pal Oil.

Palworld is now available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
