Although Bone is an important crafting resource in Palworld, it’s actually a pain to obtain consistently if you don’t know where to look. Here are the best Bone farm locations in Palworld.
The best place to farm Bone in Palworld
There are over 11 Pals who can drop Bone in Palworld. So, the best place to farm is subjective, as you can technically get it anywhere on the map. However, after spending 30 hours in the game, I have found the best routes to farm Bone, especially for those in their early game when you need the most.
Rayne Syndicate Tower Entrance farming route
The best place to farm Bone in Palworld is between the Rayne Syndicate Tower Entrance and the Small Settlement fast travel points. Following this path in the early game, you can run into several Pals who will drop Bone.
Below are the steps you can take to farm Bone:
- Warp to the Rayne Syndicate Tower Entrance.
- Once there, head south on the map and walk towards the Small Settlement fast travel point.
- Look for Rushoar and Vixy, which drop Bone if you catch or kill them.
- Once you reach the Small Settlement, fast travel back to Rayne Syndicate Tower Entrance and repeat the route.

As you travel south from Rayne Syndicate Tower Entrance, you should immediately see a group of Rushoar. The aggressive boar Pal usually spawns at level 3, so you can take them out quickly without much fuss.
The second Pal you will encounter on the route to the Small Settlement is the adorable fox Pal Vixy. I know it’s hard to take them out because they are so cute, but unfortunately, they drop Bone, and we need them! You can usually find Vixy as you inch closer to the Small Settlement point.
Spawns are randomized. So if you don’t see these Pals immediately, just warp back to the Rayne Tower and keep traveling the route until you see them. It can be frustrating, but unfortunately, this is the only way currently to “farm” Bone. That said, I might have a better solution for you below!
Small Settlement Merchant
If you don’t want to leave things up to random spawn chance, you can actually purchase Bone from the Small Settlement Merchant in Palworld. The traveling merchant can always be found in the village, and he sells Bone for 100 gold.

Simply walk up to the Small Settlement merchant and select the “Buy” option. Bone can be found at the bottom of his shop inventory. While spending 100 gold apiece isn’t the most elegant of solutions, you should be pretty flush with cash by the time you reach level 30. So, if you don’t want to farm Bone physically, this is a valid option that can help you get the item quickly!
Pals that drop Bone in Palworld
As I mentioned earlier, there are technically over 11 Pals in the game who drop Bone. So you can collect the item all over the map if you know which Pal to look for while exploring the overworld. Here’s the full list of the Pals that drop Bone in Palworld.
Another quick method to farm Bone in Palworld is to complete dungeons and Alpha bosses. Doing these will reward you with high-priced items that can be sold to the merchant in Small Settlement. After making money, turn around and use that count to purchase Bone from him. At level 35, I was able to farm over 300 bones in just 20 minutes by doing this.
