Ahead of Bayonetta Origins’ debut, PlatinumGames kicked off an art countdown with new images of Cereza. The official Twitter account has been sharing illustrations from the developer’s artists. The two so far include works from a Bayonetta 3 concept artist and a Babylon’s Fall and NieR: Automata artist.
The first piece of art is by Tomoko Nishii. In the past, Niishi worked on games like NieR: Automata. Most recently, the artist served as a concept artist on Babylon’s Fall. PlatinumGames Vice President Hideki Kamiya also noted in the past that Nishii is the Bayonetta Origins art director.
What terrors await Cereza in the shadows of the forbidden Avalon Forest…?

The March 15, 2023 Bayonetta Origins art featured both Cereza and Cheshire. It was drawn by Satona Takahashi. Takahashi also worked as a concept artist on both Bayonetta 3 and World of Demons.
Hold on there, Cheshire! We have to wait just a little longer until the release of #BayonettaOrigins: Cereza and the Lost Demon.
