Bandai Namco Reveals New Logo and Purpose Statement

Bandai Namco announced today that it is changing their corporate logo, as well as its business’s purpose statement. In the press release, Bandai Namco announced that these changes will start from April 2022 as part of a mid-term plan. Products and games that Bandai Namco releases from April 2022 will all have the new logo on them.

The purpose statement denotes why the company exists and what kinds of corporate activities it will conduct. Bandai Namco’s new purpose is “Fun for All into the Future.” In summary, its goal is to create games that will connect people and society. The Japanese version of the purpose statement also mentions that it will create entertainment that will move people’s emotions.

Bandai Namco’s logo will change from the current orange and yellow logo to one where the company name is in a pink speech bubble. Underneath it is their new statement of purpose. According to the press release, the company name is in a speech bubble is because it represents the idea of connecting people. It also brings to mind Japanese manga culture, which has become a worldwide phenomenon.

Recently, Bandai Namco released Tales of Arise, the newest entry in the long-running Tales franchise. It is also working on Tales of Luminaria, which will appear on mobile devices.

Bandai Namco will put its new logo and purpose statement in place from April 2022.
