Band Brothers P Has 2,000 Songs, You Get 100 When You Purchase The Game

Grand Ensemble! Band Brothers P is a new entry in Nintendo’s music making and playing video game series also known as Jam With the Band in Europe. The Nintendo 3DS game is slated to come out on November 14 with over 2,000 possible songs to jam to. You get to download 100 of those.

While that sounds strange, Band Brothers DX for Nintendo DS had a similar set up. DX was preloaded with 31 songs and players could download up to 100 more songs. Nintendo developed the game this way to work with JASRAC, the organization that handles music and composer copyrights in Japan.

If you want to download more than 100 tunes, you can purchase additional songs for Band Brothers P as downloadable content. Or you can make your own music. Band Brothers P has a composer function just like other games in the series. Nintendo also released a Band Brothers P composer tool which you can download for free now. The software lets you save 10 songs which can be imported into Band Brothers P, but when Band Brothers P comes out the composer tool will stop working.
