Balan Wonderworld Day One Patch Will Address Some Demo Issues

When the Balan Wonderworld demo appeared, some people voiced some concerns. In particular, players pointed out camera and control issues. An update from Producer Noriyoshi Fujimoto brought up the feedback and explained that, while not everything could be addressed, some will. More specifically, the Balan Wonderworld day one patch will take care of three problems that came up.

Fujimoto first noted that some things can’t be changed because of how far along Balan Wonderworld is. Those criticisms went into issues that can’t be changed. But the camera, difficulty, and movement can all be tweaked for the full release.

Here’s Fujimoto’s full statement discussing the Balan Wonderworld day one patch and demo feedback.

There’s been a wide range of opinions and responses to the demo, and unfortunately at the current stage of development, it simply isn’t feasible to reflect every piece of feedback into the game. However, to offer you all a more balanced gameplay experience, we will be implementing a day one patch for the full game.

Specifically, this patch will adjust movement controls, camera movement, and rebalancing of the difficulty.

As a reminder, the Balan Wonderworld demo includes three worlds. People can go through them alone or with another person.

Balan Wonderworld will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on March 26, 2021, and there will be a day one patch for it.
