Bakutsuri Hunters Announced For Switch In Japan With Giga Rod And Lure Toys On December 7

Bandai Namco announced that the intense fishing series Bakutsuri Bar Hunter is getting a new Nintendo Switch game called Bakutsuri Hunters that comes with a “Giga Rod” Joy-Con fishing reel and “Giga Lures.”

Similar to the 3DS game that released last year, the game comes with a fishing reel attachment.

This time it is a “Bakutsuri Giga Rod” Joy-Con which you’ll use for some gyro fishing action.

In Story Mode you’ll go through an adventure with companions. You can also get new fishing areas using Wi-Fi.

 

A set including the Giga Rod and Reel plus the downloadable Bakutsuri Hunters game will be available for 4,800 yen plus tax. Those using a Nintendo Switch Lite will need to use a separate Joy-Con to play the game.

The Giga Lure are available for 450 yen plus tax each. They basically come with codes for you to get the lures in-game.

Lastly, the Bakutsuri Giga Rod DX Set featuring the Giga Rod, the four Giga Lures, and Fishing Spot Cards will be available for 6,300 yen plus tax.
