Arc System Works revealed Baiken as the fourth DLC character for Guilty Gear Strive. The character will release in late January 2022. The announcement comes with a new teaser trailer for the character, giving fans a brief glimpse at what she will look like.
While the trailer doesn’t show any Baiken gameplay, it does feature an old-school samurai film-style opening. The teaser trailer also includes the poem that plays during Baiken’s introduction scene in Guilty Gear Xrd. Notably, the trailer shows off new Japanese-themed stages including a pagoda on a bridge and a forest area. Baiken herself also mentions Delilah, the younger sister of Bedman.

Baiken will be Guilty Gear Strive‘s fourth DLC character. She first appeared in Guilty Gear, and later in Guilty Gear X as a playable character. The teaser trailer indicates that her character design in Strive is based on her appearance from Guilty Gear Xrd.
Arc System Works already confirmed that Happy Chaos, Jack-O, and Goldlewis Dickenson would be included in the Season 1 Pass DLC. After the release of Baiken, Arc System Works will release one final character as part of the Season 1 Pass some time in 2022. The fifth DLC character will also come with an additional stage and another story.
Guilty Gear Strive is immediately available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC. Players who own the Season 1 Pass will have access to Baiken sometime in late January 2022.
