People won’t just see the Babylon’s Fall game in March 2022. They’ll also get a chance to get its music. Square Enix announced it will release Babylon’s Fall Original Soundtrack on March 9, 2022. Pre-orders are already open for the $47.99 set in the North American Square Enix Store. As noted by Famitsu, this will also be a worldwide release.
Few details about the soundtrack are available. For example, we don’t know how many songs will be on its discs. However, we do know it will span five CDs in total.
For an example of how it will sound, listen to it sounded in its The Game Awards 2021 trailer.
PlatinumGames’ Hiroshi Yamaguchi is the composer for Babylon’s Fall. In the past, he’s worked on many notable games from the developer. For example, most recently Yamaguchi worked on the score for World of Demons and did an arrangement of Donkey Kong Country’s “The Map Page/Bonus Level” for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Prior to that, he worked at Clover Studios and composed Okami tracks.
Babylon’s Fall will appear on the PS4, PS5, and PC on March 3, 2022. If someone pre-orders the Digital Deluxe edition, early access will begin on February 28, 2022. The Babylon’s Fall Original Soundtrack CD set will appear a few days later on March 9, 2022.
