Yostar will hold a new Azur Lane live stream on Monday, April 19, 2021, at 20:00 JST (7 AM ET). The stream is expected to reveal a new event starring Vittorio Veneto, the flagship of the Italy-inspired Sardegna Empire. Voice actress Asami Shimoda will host the stream, with Azur Lane fan and voice actor Takuma Terashima appearing as a guest.
Currently, eight shipgirls are available to recruit from the Sardegna Empire. They are the destroyers Carabiniere and Vincenzo Gioberti, heavy cruisers Zara, Pola, and Trento, dreadnought battleships Conte di Cavour and Giulio Cesare, and Vittorio Veneto’s sister ship Littorio. While most of them debuted through the first Sardegnan event “Empyreal Tragicomedy” in September 2019, Pola and Vincenzo Gioberti were added during a rerun held between January and February 2021.
As the faction’s representative leader, Vittorio Veneto was present in “Empyreal Tragicomedy.” However, she was only a story NPC. The upcoming event will focus on the Sardegna Empire and add more new shipgirls from the faction.
The most recent major event prior to this announcement was “Khorovod of Dawn’s Rime.” Revealed through a live stream on February 21, 2021, the event added shipgirls from the USSR-inspired Northern Parliament like Sovetskaya Belorussiya and ran from February 25 to March 12, 2021. Most recently, Yostar held a rerun of the “Ashen Simulacrum” event that added USS Allen M. Sumner and USS Stephen Potter between March and April 2021.
Azur Lane is immediately available on Android and iOS mobile devices worldwide. Players who log into the game for 21 days in April 2021 can obtain the destroyer Oite from the Japan-inspired Sakura Empire.
