The game’s Japanese Twitter account described the shipgirl as a self-proclaimed navigator who is enthusiastically looking forward to visiting unexplored seas. Though filled with the desire for adventure, she tends to act first without thinking. She also occasionally ends up involving friends in her own troubles.

In history, this ship was one of the 12 Navigatori-class destroyers named after medieval-era Italian navigators. RN Nicoloso da Recco shot down three British Beaufort bombers while escorting a freight convoy in July 1942. She also received a note for being the only ship in the class that survived World War II.

Yostar will deliver more details for the second Sardegna Empire event through a live stream scheduled for April 19, 2021. The new event will include missions related to HMS Aurora, Nelson, Gloucester, and RN Littorio. The latter was made available through the first Sardegna event, “Empyreal Tragicomedy,” originally held in September 2019. Due to the recent rerun of the event in January 2021, it has yet to be added permanently into the War Archives.

Azur Lane is immediately available on Android and iOS mobile devices worldwide.
