The Pizza Hut collaboration was held first in the Chinese version of Azur Lane to celebrate its 3rd anniversary in May 2020. The newer version of the collaboration in Japan also added a new pizza-themed skin for USS Hornet. The optional skins for Belfast and Hornet can be purchased with diamonds.

The only new skin that can be obtained for free is available for IJN Fubuki. Commanders must first gather pizza ingredient points by defeating bosses in event stages and main stages in Chapter 3 and beyond. These will eventually unlock not only Fubuki’s skin and a special chat frame, but Commanders will also be able to construct their own pizza by customizing the crust and toppings.

The collaboration content is also available in the English global version under the “Manjuu Pizzeria” title until January 25, 2021. All Pizza Hut branding was removed for the English release. For whatever reason, the new skin for USS Hornet is not available in the global client either as of January 13, 2021.

Azur Lane is immediately available on Android and iOS mobile devices worldwide. The mobile game is currently holding the “Inverted Orthant” event, which will end on January 14, 2021. The event will be followed with a worldwide simultaneous rerun of “Empyreal Tragicomedy,” which added shipgirls from the Italy-inspired Sardegna Empire for the first time.
