With Fire Emblem Warriors, players will be able to purchase add-ons that bring new playable characters, history maps, costumes, support conversations, and weapons. We know that there will be three, based on Fire Emblem Fates, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, and Fire Emblem Awakening, which can be purchased in $8.99 single packs or together in a $19.99 season pass. Now that the game is live on the Australian eShop, product listings have revealed the identities of the nine DLC characters. (Thanks, ShadowTreecko!)
The first Fire Emblem Warriors DLC back, based on Fates, will be released in December 2017 and add Azura, Niles, and Oboro as playable characters. It will be followed by a February 2018 Shadow Dragon pack that brings in Linde, Minerva, and Navarre. Finally, the March 2018 Awakening pack includes Olivia, Owain, and Tharja. As a reminder, characters like Niles, Oboro, Navarre, and Owain are all already present in the base version of the game as NPCs.
These Fire Emblem Warriors Australian eShop listings also clarify some information about other pack contents. We know each one has three History Maps. The Fates pack has 5 costumes and 13 broken-armor models, the Shadow Dragon pack has 4 costumes, 6 weapons, and 9 broken-armor models, and the Awakening pack has 3 new costumes, 7 new weapons, and 10 broken-armor models.
Fire Emblem Warriors will launch on the Nintendo Switch in North America, Europe, and Australia on October 20, 2017. It is already available in Japan.
